On April 23rd we visited La Casa de la Arquitectura for the opening of Radical Rehab. Arquitectura y Patrimonio en España (1975–2025), an exhibition curated by Ángela Juarranz and Carlos Mombiela, which includes our project El camino de la Almazara.
Alongside it, Fins ací, curated by Milena Villalba, and Bienestar en la Ciudad, curated by Izaskun Chinchilla, were also inaugurated.
The exhibition brings together 80 rehabilitation projects developed in Spain over the last decades and reflects on how to intervene in existing structures without losing their memory or their ability to keep transforming. It focuses on projects that reinterpret buildings, landscapes and urban fabrics in response to new social, climatic and cultural needs, understanding rehabilitation as an essential architectural, ecological and collective practice today.
We are very happy to participate with our small project alongside so many works and professionals we admire.
The exhibition can be visited at La Casa de la Arquitectura in Madrid until March 2027.
